The evening will feature tenor Ragaa Eldin, who will be awarded the “IL PARNASO” Prize, reserved for artists who have distinguished themselves on the international stage. Born in Egypt in 1983, Ragaa Eldin graduated from the Cairo Conservatory and continued his studies in London and Paris. Winner of numerous awards in prestigious vocal competitions, his recent engagements include Turandot and Madama Butterfly at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, La Bohème at the Opera of Kazan, Lucia di Lammermoor in Clermont-Ferrand, Ernani in Cagliari, Tosca in Novara, Carmen in Macerata, Iolanta in Kiel, Rigoletto in Warsaw, a Puccini Gala at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago and participation in the Opera Gala of Egyptian Stars for the inauguration of the New Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
