Chiara Mariani started to study the piano at a very early age under the famous  piano teacher R.Bottai, she continued her studies at the Conservatory “L.Cherubini ” in Florence, where in 1994  she got her diploma, first class with honours, with the musician L.Rocchetti. In March 2007 she got the second level ” Piano Academic Diploma”, still  full marks with honours  at the musical Institute “Boccherini” in Lucca with a thesis on “Chamber music aspetcts in Puccini’s vocality “. She has won several first prizes in national and international competitions such as:” The cup of Italian pianists in Osimo”,” The P.Napoli trophy in Livorno, The National Competition A.M.A.Calabria, the National competition “City of Genova”,” the International Festival of Bardolino”, The international competition “Città di Stresa”, The 10th National Competition “Città of Moncalieri”. She has attended Chamber Music courses with  many famous musicians: F.Rossi at the Music school in Sesto Fiorentino, Brengola at the Chigiana Academy in Siena where she got  a  first class Diploma and was awarded a scholarship. She did  courses also with D, Rosa, M.Jones and the trio of Milan  (B.Canino, R.Filippini, MSirbu) at The Music School in Fiesole where she qualified with a Professional Diploma for Orchestra. As a soloist she  specialized with the musicians J.Achucarro and H.Moreno. From 1990 to 1994 she attended  Courses of Choral Conductorship, organised by the Italian Association S.Cecilia in Rome, given by the musicians W.Marzilli, L.Toja and V.Donella. Since 1998 she has been Assistant Director   of Pisa  Chorale Society. Chiara Mariani has performed in a great number of concerts both in Italy and abroad, as a soloist and  in several chamber music groups, playing in prestigious concert halls like: the Lyceum in Florence, the “Scuola Superiore S.Anna” in Pisa, the University  of Reims, the “Sala delle Reali Poste ” at the” Uffizi Gallery” in  Florence. She has played with the “Orchetra Giovanile Italiana” in the Konzerthaus in Berlin. She is accompanist pianist in the International Opera Competition “Titta Ruffo “in Pisa. Since 2006 she has been Assistant Director of Goldoni Theatre in Livorno and since 2008 of  The Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago. She is accompanist pianist  of singing classes at the  High Specialization Academy in Torre del Lago for Puccini’s opera voices. In 2010 she got the qualification as “choir pianist “at the Opera Theatre of Montecarlo, Monaco and as accompanist pianist at the Musical Institute “Boccherini” in Lucca.
