Born in Viareggio August 27, 1969, he studied singing under the guidance of Graziano Polidori and Paolo Washington.
In 1996 he made his debut in the opera “Il matrimonio segreto” by Cimarosa, staged at the “Teatro dei Rassicurati” in Montecarlo (Lucca) and made his debut in the role of Mamma Agata at the “Teatro di Bagni” in Lucca in the opera “Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali” by Donizetti. IN the same year he plays the role of Fiorello in “The Barber of Seville” by Rossini al “Opera Buffa” Theather of Arezzo. In 1997 he joined the tenor Andrea Bocelli in the closing concert of the opera season of the “Festival of Puccini” and in the opera “La Rondine” by Puccini under the guidance of Master Gabriele Bellini at the “Teatro del Giglio”.
In 1999 he took part in the exhibition “Novecento Francia” organized by the CEL of Livorno, playing the role of Son Ami in the opera “Le paure Matelot” by Darius Milhaud; always in 1999 he joined the opera academy of Katia Ricciarelli, singing at the closing concert at the Teatro Regio of Parma and in the traditional Lombardi’s theater. In March 2000 he made his debut at the “Teatro Verdi” in Salerno in the role of the Sacristan in Puccini’s Tosca under the direction of Master Nicola Luisotti, role that will be played again for the Puccini’s Festival in the summer; in June, as part of “Tosca 2000” participates in the “Te Deum” by Domenico Puccini in the church of Sant’Andrea della Valle in Rome, under the guidance of Master Herbert Handt and debuted in the role of Germano in the opera “La scala di seta” by Rossini always under the direction of Master Handt, opera that will be resumed at the “Theatre of Bordeaux”. In 2000, in the Tosca’s centenary, took part in the staging of the opera under the direction Tiziano Severini, in the theaters of Lucca, Bolzano, Trento, Rovigo, Livorno, Pisa, Ravenna.
In 2003 he was Figaro in “The Barber of Seville” by Rossini in the theaters of Pistoia and Grosseto directed by the Masters Handt and Garbarino.
During the 2004-2005 season she sang the role of Prince Yamadori in the production of the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca for the centenary of “Madame Butterfly”, which reached the theaters of Pisa, Sassari, Livorno, Bolzano, Ravenna, Trento, Rovigo and Parma.
In the 2005 season, singing the roles of Benoit and Alcindoro in the opera “La Boheme” by Puccini under the direction of Maestro Nicola Luisotti at the Suntory Hall in Tokyo. In June, he interpreted the role of Dulcamara in “Elisir d’amore” by Donizetti at the Theatre of Latin America and the Sacristan in Puccini’s Tosca in the theaters of Grosseto. Also in Bordeaux, in September, singing Figaro in The Barber of Seville.
In the season 2006-2007-2008 he sang the role of Schaunard and Alcindoro in “La Boheme” by Puccini, produced by Teatro del Giglio of Lucca in Lucca, Bolzano, Ravenna, Prato, Livorno, Pisa and Bergamo, under the direction of Master Marzio Conti and Master Aldo Tarabella.
In 2008-2009 he studied with Master Dano Raffanti to switch switch vocal register and between July and August he debuts in various concerts (Boccherini Festival, Torre del Lago Opera Gala, Pisa .. ect ..) as a tenor.
In March, he made his debut as Cavaradossi in Tosca by Puccini and in April as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly with the lyricTheatre of Livorno. In August, for the centenary, he is Jonson in “La Fanciulla del West” by Giacomo Puccini in Lucca. He opens the 2010-2011 season at the Teatro Goldoni in Livorno with the “Mass of Glory” by Mascagni. In March, he partecipates in the production of “Aida” by Giuseppe Verdi as Radames at the Teatro Comunale in Florence and at the Gala concert for the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy under the direction of Master Boncompagni with Verdi’s Hymn of the Nations. In 2011 participates in the productions of “Tosca” as Cavaradossi conducted by the Master Alan Frailes and made his debut in Adriana Lecouvreur in Varazze as Maurizio di Sassonia.
During the same year he took part in the celebrations for the unification of Italy with Verdi’s concerts held in various cities of Italy. In December, he debuts in Mascagni’s Isabeau at the Teatro Goldoni in Livorno in the role of Folco, for the centenary of the opera itself. In Livorno, in December, he sings the Messa di Gloria and Cavalleria Rusticana both by the Master of Livorno. He starts the 2012 with a series of concerts conducted by Maestro Frailes. In March he debuted as Pollione in Bellini’s “Norma” at the Teatro Govi in Genoa conducted by Master Lorenzo Tazziere which will be resumed in June for the Barlassina Theatre in Monza.
